The Hora Once Tango Project is a dynamic ensemble dedicated to the passionate and evocative art of Tango music. Founded by singer Ana Barajas and guitarist Adam Carney, the project breathes new life into traditional tango melodies while infusing them with modern flair and innovation; performing music from not only the Golden era of Tango, but also Nuevo Tango and Original compositions
Hora Once performs regularly in Austin and central Texas at festivals, special events and private parties, wineries, restaurants and Milongas for dance enthusiasts and music-goers alike, as well as working with Tango dancers in elaborate live music and dance stage productions.
Hora Once can be seen performing together in many different ensemble varieties from duet to octet, with amazing musicians of many different types of instrumentation, including any combination of guitar and voice, violin, accordion, double bass, cello, bandoneon, piano, flute, etc, depending on the occasion.
